Sue Gilbert
February 10, 1951 ~ March 31, 2019
Mom passed away March 31, 2019, after years of battling multiple heath issues.
Mom was born to Lenord and Collette Tomney the oldest of four siblings. Mom grew up in Washington Terrace where she made many lifelong friends, many that continue to this day. Mom also met the love of her life Gerald, literally across the street from the house she grew up in.
Sue and Gerald had two children, who later went on to marry which brought an additional daughter and son, Brittney and Shawn Gilbert, along with Amie and Chad Arnold. They then brought to Sue what mattered most in her life, her grandkids, Bailey (Zach) Ericksen, Hadley (Logan) Frost, Jaden Arnold, Sydni Arnold, and Carson Arnold.
Her greatest joys were times spent with family; watching the girls dance and cheer, and many nights spent at the ballpark. Mom will be deeply missed and will forever be in our hearts.
We will be holding a celebration of life on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 12 to 3 p.m. at The Timbermine Steak House, 1701 Park Blvd, Ogden.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to The Huntsman Cancer Institute.
