Claudia Pendleton Thompson

 Claudia Pendleton Thompson
May 17, 1951 ~ March 6, 2019

Claudia Pendleton Thompson, age 67, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2019. She was born on May 17, 1951 in Ogden, Utah to Marquis Fayette Pendleton and Ruby Lorraine Maxwell Pendleton.
She grew up in Washington Terrace, Utah and had many wonderful friends. She enjoyed camping in the Uintas with her family each summer.
Claudia was a kind and generous friend to all. No matter your station in life, she would share all she had with you.
Claudia had a keen sense of humor. She always had a funny story to share and she loved making us all laugh. She loved singing and enjoyed playing the piano. She could put away a dozen donuts in one sitting, and not gain a pound. She loved to shop, even if she didn’t buy anything.
For 23 years she worked as a file clerk and tax examiner for the I.R.S.
Claudia’s greatest joy in her life was her family. She adored her two beautiful daughters, Heidi Lynn (Mark) Burton and Heather Craine and grandson Trevor that she raised as her own.
Each one of her grandchildren brought such joy to her life, Michael, Crystal, Brandon, Kymberly, Cierra, Travis and T.J, you were the light of her life.
Claudia had many wonderful times with siblings growing up. She is survived by one sister, Judy Irene (Keith) Price, Layton, Utah; Max Irvin (Tracy) Pendleton, Roy, Utah; and Kelly Lee (Michele) Pendleton, Woodridge, Illinois. She is also survived by a dear sister-in-law, Mel Pendleton, Layton, Utah, whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her dear parents, Marquis and Ruby, her older brother, Michael Marquis, and her sweet sister Faye Lorraine. She is having a wonderful reunion with many loved ones that she missed daily.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at the Roy South Stake Center, 5725 South 3750 West Roy, Utah for family and friends.
