Mesquite, Nevada - Raelene Marie Kendrick, 67, passed
away unexpectedly Saturday, August 11, 2018, in Mesquite, Nevada.
She was born July 6, 1951, in Ogden, Utah, to Kenneth T. and Marie E. Newbold Read.
Raelene grew up in Washington Terrace, and in her later teen years moved to Clinton. She graduated from Clearfield High School. She also worked for the IRS, and retired from Hill Air Force Base.
On June 19, 1970, Raelene married Bill Parkin in Ogden, Utah. Together they had two wonderful children, but were later divorced. On March 30, 1990, Raelene married Richard Kendrick.
Raelene is survived by her husband, Rick; two children, Chad William Parkin, and Dayna Rae Parkin; three grandchildren: Zack and Zaylie Parkin, and Kathryn Heise; four step grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; her brother, K.T. Read of West Valley City, Utah; and three sisters: George (Brenda) Salyers of Bristol, Tennessee; Brad (Kathy) Sawyer of West Haven, Utah; and Donnie (Jeanie) Howell of Roy, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Raelene loved to read, make jewelry, and go to movies. She also loved make-up, the color purple, and trips to Yellowstone.
Those we love can never be more than a thought away...for as long as there's a memory they live in our hearts to stay.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
