WASHINGTON TERRACE – Gloria Lee Harris, 40, died Thursday, September 12,
1991 at the University of Utah Medical Center from complications of diabetes. She
was born in Salt Lake City on July 31, 1951, the daughter of Leo Neeley and
Verla Bright Harris. She married I. Lynn Kimber on August 29, 1969. They were
later divorced. She was reared and educated in Ogden and graduated from Bonneville High School.
She was active in the LDS Church and received her own endowments on February
24, 1984. She had been employed at Hill Air Force Base for over 20 years. Surviving
are one son, Brody Harris Redlin, and her parents, all of Washington Terrace. Also
surviving are one brother, Dee L. and Gina Harris, Hooper; three sisters, Linda
H. and Douglas Nay, Ogden; Diane H. and Scott Grange, Taylor; Jenn H. and
Kenneth Edwards, Layton; six nephews and seven nieces. She was preceded in death
by two nieces. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s
Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with Bishop John H. Giles of the Washington Terrace 12th Ward officiating. Friends may call at the
mortuary Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist’s
Washington Heights Memorial Park.
