Kirk Lazar Rogerson, 51 passed away Saturday, October 5, 2002 in Townsend, Montana. He was born May 21, 1951 in Ogden, the son of Ralph L. and Helen Lazar Rogerson. Kirk married Judy L. Smith on August 3, 1974 in Ogden. They were later divorced. They had two children, Ryan and Toni. Kirk married Darcey Preece on January 27, 1995 in Ogden. They had one son Jared. Kirk graduated from Bonneville High School. He excelled in football, baseball, and basketball. He attended Dixie College on a baseball scholarship. He also attended Weber State College. Kirk’s greatest joy was fly fishing. Kirk is survived by his wife Darcey; sons, Ryan K. Rogerson, South Ogden; and Jared B. Rogerson, Clearfield; and stepdaughter, Lale Preece, Clearfield. He is also survived by a sister, Vickie (David) Hamilton, South Ogden and his two nephews, Nicholas and Samuel Hamilton, South Ogden. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Toni L. Rogerson. Kirk was cremated and a private family service was help. Interment, Washington Heights Cemetery.
