Vicki A. Simmons
November 4, 1950 - February 17, 1999
OGDEN - To know her was to love her. Vicki Simmons died early Wednesday morning, February 17, 1999 at age 48. With determination and love for her family she survived for three years with pancreatic cancer. Vicki was born November 4, 1950 a daughter of A. LaVoir and Carol Brown Austin. She was a graduate of Bonneville High School. She was employed at I.R.S., D.D.O., Hill Field and for the past 14 years at the South Ogden Police Department. Vicki married Jerome Simmons. They had one daughter Sarina Simmons Waters. Vicki was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Preceding her in death was her sister, Debra Austin Potter, two grandmothers and two grandfathers. Surviving are her daughter, Sarina (Evon F) Waters, Ogden, her mother and father, two sisters, Wendy and Danica Austin; two brothers, Brad and Brett Austin, and a loved nephew, Casey Austin Potter, all of South Ogden. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with the Rev Dr Richard Minnich of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary on Monday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment, Trenton, Utah City Cemetery.
