MICHAEL H. MCARTHUR - BASKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA - Michael H. McArthur died August 21, 1997 in Bakersfield, due to complications of diabetes. He was born February 18, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Robert D. and Connie J. McArthur. He graduated from Bonneville High School and attended the University of Utah for five years. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Michael was a talented artist and musician. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service. He is survived by his wife, Karen, Bakersfield, Calif.; mother, Connie, South Ogden, Utah; brother, Dennis, Nampa, Idaho; sister, Merrilee; niece, Steffinee Taylor; nephew, Josh Taylor, South Ogden, Utah; and a special great-aunt, Lila Rennie, Ogden, Utah. He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial service was held in Bakersfield.
