Michael Bryant Ellis died June 1, 1994, after a 12-year battle (since 1982) with AIDS. He was 42 years old (born 1951). Mr. Ellis spent many years in broadcasting in Salt Lake and Ogden. He leaves no immediate family, just the very best of friends, Alan Asay, Sonny Whatcott, Wynn Amundson, Gary Gardner and countless others. He is survived by no living relatives on his mother’s side. He would like to thank the following people for his quality of life. Dr. Kristen Ries and Maggie Holy Cross Outpatient IV. Dr. Temple Riekhof and dozens of virtual strangers who just pitched in and helped. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 5, 1994, 4:30 p.m. at the Friends Meetinghouse. 161 2nd Avenue, Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Ellis will be interred in Aultorest Memorial Cemetery, Ogden, Utah under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
