Ritchie Kyle Anthony
May 1, 1951 - October 13, 2021
Ritchie was born on May 1st, 1951 and passed away on October 13th, 2021 at the age of 70.
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away at his home on October 13th, 2021 of natural causes. He was born May 1st, 1951 to Buck and Maxine Anthony in Ogden, Utah. He married Debbie Rubin on November 15th, 1975 and together had two children, Ashley and Kyle. Ashley gave him two beautiful grandchildren Kaleb and Kaycee before her passing in 2019. There are many others that he treated like grandchildren as well. Rich served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He loved his Country and it’s flag. A highlight for him during this time was that the ship he served on, the USS Ticonderoga, picked up the three NASA astronauts from the Apollo 16 mission after they landed in the South Pacific Ocean. He loved sports. He loved watching football and hockey and especially his grandson play baseball. He was a wonderful father and grandfather that would play for hours. Rich was always a hard worker. He worked numerous jobs and just recently retired. He is survived by his wife Debbie, a son Kyle (Kayla), grandson Kaleb, granddaughter Kaycee, and a sister Pat Sawley. His parents, sister Susan Hoskins, daughter Ashley, and his father and mother in law Ocie and Anna Record preceded him in death. We will miss his contagious smile, his thoughtfulness, his patience, his card playing, his quiet presence, his Christ-like actions, his help on the train, how he made us laugh, his patriotism, his pure love, his love of Snoopy, his terms of endearment (kiddo), his soft spoken kindnesses, his small talks, playing the Hand and Foot game, campfires with him at the cabin, him pushing us on the swings, and his willingness to serve others. Graveside services for will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the South Morgan Cemetery.
