"Always have a smile on your face and a cheerful hello for the people you meet and you will always have a lot of friends.” -Terry Pierce
On August 27th, 2013, Terrell (Terry) Garth Pierce won his last battle with cancer and was promoted and reassigned to a new post to help guard the streets of heaven with his fellow Marines. Terry’s Father, Thomas Garth Pierce, Mother, Beverly Richardson Pierce, best friend and fellow Marine, Paul Meyers, were waiting at the gates of heaven to welcome Terry home. Terry was born on March 5th, 1950 in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1969 and then joined the Marine Corp with his best friend Paul Meyers. After boot camp, Terry married Vaneita Thornock, then left for Viet Nam in September of 1969.
