Sunset, UT - Our dear father, brother and uncle passed away May 11, 2011, unexpectedly at his home in Sunset, Utah, where he lived with his sister and brother-in-law. He was born November 15, 1951, in Oakland, CA to Eugene L. and Jeannine Burch Girardo. He graduated from Bonneville High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Debra K. Kappan and they had two children. They later divorced but remained good friends. He was most recently employed at Life Time Products in Clearfield, Utah. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and baseball. He had a musical talent and has written many songs. He enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to music by Bob Dylan. Ronald is survived by his two children; Dylan (Jamie) Girardo and Rachel (Mark) McKay; two brothers, Gerald (Betty) Girardo, David (Deborah) Girardo and one sister Patricia (Ralph) Bennett, and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed and thought of often. A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., at Myers Mortuary in Roy. Following the viewing there will be a celebration of life at Meadows Park, 575 West 2300 North, Clinton, Utah, from 1:00- 3:00 p.m., Friends and family are invited to attend.
