August 16, 1951 - August 12, 2008

A loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend Alan Don Gould passed away Aug. 12, 2008 due to heart failure. Alan was born on Aug. 16th, 1951 in Ogden, Utah to A. Don and Joyce Gould. He married Carol Eggleston and they had two children, Lonny and Sheila (later divorced). He married his guardian angel and life saver Cheri Kracht on June 10th, 2000 they were sealed in the Manti LDS temple on May 13, 2006. Alan was a plumber for more than 30 years and was a hard and loyal worker. They moved from Utah to Arizona in 2004. They enjoyed teaching primary and built many great relationships. He enjoyed boating and had a special place in his heart for Flaming Gorge. He was most at ease while on his boat and enjoying the sun. He took great pride in taking care of his family and friends. He loved to tease and play with his grandchildren that he loved and adored. He passed while spending time with them. Alan was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister DonaJoy. He is survived by his loving wife Cheri and children: Lonny (Megan) Gould, Sheila (Erik) Story of Ogden, Utah Shannen (Brian) Karber of Nebo, North Carolina, Kyle and Rachel Kracht of Arizona, his sisters Beverly (Harry) Trease, Claudia Deheer, and Sandy (Arlo) Bragg and his 11 grandchildren. Dad we love and will miss you, Love Lonny and Sheila. You were an amazing man who took our shattered lives and put them back together again. You will live in our hearts, Dreams and Actions. Forever yours Cheri, Kyle, Shannen and Rachel. On Friday Aug 29th Memorial Services 12 pm at North Ogden Ward, 650 E. 3550 N. At 3 pm Graveside at Washington Heights, 4500 Washington Blvd So. Ogden. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to help with Medical/Funeral expenses at any America First Credit Union in c/o Alan Gould, in the name of Lonny Gould.
