Riverdale - Miss Cindy Ann Garfield 23, of 1094 W. 4400 S. Riverdale, died Wednesday morning at the McKay Dee Hospital following a short illness. She was born Aug. 30, 1951, in Ogden, a daughter of Wayne L. and Marian Hamblen Garfield. She was a member of the LDS Riverdale Ward. She had been reared and educated in the Weber County Schools. She was attending Weber State College at the time of her death. She had been active in ladies softball in the Ogden area and had worked for Troc  and the Eagles Family Meadows. She is survived by her parents of Riverdale; a grandmother, Mrs. Stella Hamblen, Riverdale; two brothers and two sisters, Michael W. Garfield, Taylor; James A. Garfield, Mrs. Hans A. (Janet) Maass, and Miss Karie L. Garfield, all of Riverdale. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Flowers Mortuary with Bishop Gail Sanders, of the Riverdale 1st Ward, officiating. Friends may call at the Chapel of Flowers Mortuary Friday evening, 6 to 8 and Saturday one hour prior to services.
